Harry H. Huber Fund for Church and Music
Furthering Huber’s love for the church and musical performance.
Established by University UMC in 2026, the Harry H. Huber Fund for Church and Music is dedicated to supporting musicians interested in sacred (church) music, and to the use of our Sanctuary as a venue for musical performance at low-to-no cost to the public. The fund is named after our longtime organist Harry H. Huber, an accomplished musician and music professor at Kansas Wesleyan University. Huber passed away in 2017 at the age of 102.
Funded Projects
Ongoing: The fund supports University UMC’s minister of music as he learns to play the organ.
Inaugural Match Campaign
Thanks to two generous individuals, in November and December, contributions to the fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. Check back at the start of November for information on how to donate.
